So I fly to Italy tonight at 9:30pm with a layover in Germany and will be in Florence tomorrow afternoon and I have arranged to meet with a few different academics/guides who will show me and tell me about everything they can about the 13th century, and Saturday afternoon this lovely woman who lives in Dante's old house is showing me around, and basically, I think by the end of the weekend I'll be in a much much better position to write my new book then I am right now. Monday I'll do some more wandering and then Tuesday I head to Bologna just to check it out before flying home Wednesday morning via Vienna. OOOLALALALA!

In other news, Project Runway made me cry. I LOVE CHRISTIAN!!!
